Historical Location
Railroad Pass is the longest running casino in Nevada, open since 1931. Guests particularly enjoyed playing the antique slot machines, still working to this day. When you're ready for something new, the hotel is only a 15-minute drive to the Las Vegas Strip. It is also conveniently located 20 minutes from the McCarran International Airport.

negative:
Mediocre Meals
Guests weren't too impressed with the food quality at the hotel's restaurants. The Buffet's variety in food choices is quite large, however, with something to suit every palate.
negative:
Old Age
Railroad Pass is an older property and it shows. Some guests thought the rooms are due for an update. The furniture, especially, appears outdated, and the carpets either need a deep clean or replacement. In addition, the hotel's elevator was described as "noisy" and the A/C was sometimes weak.
negative:
Smoky
While this is not unusual for most hotels in the Las Vegas area, many guests complained about the strong smoke smell throughout the property, in the casino, public areas, hallways and even some rooms.
