Resort Quinta da Floresta – Santo António Villas, Golf & Spa (Budens, Portugal)

Parque Da Floresta provided plenty of space for large groups to get together under one roof, and guests often said that this was their favourite thing about the resort. There was also no shortage of fun, family-oriented things to do, and repeat visitors said that they were never let down by the condition of accommodation.

Guests thought that grounds were meticulously landscaped, which added to the feeling that staff were working hard to maintain the clean and spotless conditions that guests regularly encountered. The outdoor areas around the pool, spa, and gym stole the spotlight, not to mention the fantastic views.

In addition to being friendly and efficient, guests said that several staff members spoke English. But the real standout was the pleasant attitude of hotel staff, including remembering familiar faces and working tirelessly to ensure that guests were having a good time.

Guests highly recommended driving a car to have for future trips to nearby shopping and restaurants. A few felt a bit isolated here, and thought that it would have been perfect if it was slightly closer to Lagos and surrounding attractions.

Guests who liked to golf were in golfer's heaven, but those who didn't partake in the game sometimes felt left out of the party. Parque Da Floresta is a very golf-centric resort, and some guests thought that a love of golf greatly enhanced their stay.

A few reoccurring nuisances needed attention, according to guests who expressed their distaste for the poorly covered windows in rooms and the lack of sun beds at the main pool.
