Resort Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel (Carlsbad, USA)

Carlsbad by the Sea Resort is located very close to Legoland and, conveniently, you can even get a courtesy shuttle there. You'll also find yourself close to a number of restaurants, shops and attractions. The beach is really nearby as well and the freeway is easily accessible. The airport is just a short journey away as well.

The pool area is a good area to chill out. The water is refreshing, while the hot tub is also a fine place to spend some time if you don't feel like leaving the resort.

Guestrooms have balconies or patios, giving you a nice outdoor area to relax while enjoying the view, which will be of either the pool or the garden.

The Wi-Fi at Carlsbad by the Sea Resort isn't the best. During busy times, you might find that it drops out at frustratingly regular intervals. It can also be generally slow and unresponsive while you are online as well.

The breakfast buffet is ok but nothing special. There isn't a particularly good selection of items from which to choose and what is on offer isn't especially tasty. While passable, it isn't a very satisfactory meal at all.

The furniture and décor at this resort feel quite tired, both in guestrooms and in exterior areas. The whole place could do with a general makeover. The level of cleanliness is fine but not amazing and some guests have commented that they encountered ants in their rooms.
