In Swahili language “raha” means happiness , and this is the feeling the owners of the villa had, when they first saw Jambiani, its beaches and its sea. And right here away from the crowded resorts and the crowded beaches they decided to build their hut, deliberately in the small village of Jambiani. This also to get in touch with the local people always smiling and friendly, because Jambiani is really a little kind of heaven. Raha lodge is meant for those travellers who do not like all-inclusive package tours, crowded resorts but who want their holiday to be also an emotional experience to live in the total relaxion of a still untouched area. Raha lodge is a choice, a philosophy of life, a way of being. .... it's your dream in your heaven... The villa is situated direct on the fabulous white sandy beach, which was built in July 2009 and renovated in June 2015, today has 6 spacious bedrooms and can accomodated up to 14 people. At the ground floor there are 3 double rooms (with king size bed) and one comfort room with 2 double beds, all with badroom en suite; a the first flor there are 2 rooms one with 2 twins beds and one double room with one bathroom. All of them with sea-view and decorated in local style but refined. There is a very large living room at the groun flore where you can simply sit down and spend hours just looking at the colours of the beach and the sea in front of you. At the first flor there is a spectacular terrace, where is possible eat or you can chill out, relaxing on the sofas and enjoying a breathtaking view of the ocean, which is going to give you unforgettable emotions. The price for rent the entire villa includs breakfast and services (cleaning staffs, night guard, gardener, Wi.Fi). We have 3 options for the meals at Raha Lodge: 1. If you are interested in half-board the cost 20 USD per day /each person, 30 USD for full board: one meal includes a starter, a main course (pasta, or fish or meat with side dish) and a dessert with 1 beer or 1 soda and 1 small water per person. There will be daily menu with several proposals of the chef. 2. Self catering: For use our ktchen the price is 30 USD per day (electricity, gas, dishes, all included). 3. If you want a chef who cooks the food you will buy the price is 50 USD per day. We can organise the transfer from/to airport, a lot of tours in Zanzibar and safari too.
