Positive Reviews
positive:
Tower above wonderful Copenhagen
If you have a head for heights you will likely marvel at the scenic views from this hotel, which overlooks Copenhagen from one of the city's tallest buildings. Guests loved gazing down on the city from their rooms through the full-length windows. Naturally, the best views are from the upper floors.
positive:
Location suited most
Most reviewers felt the location, about 15-minutes' walk from the main railway station and 20 minutes from the main shopping street, made the hotel a good base for business or leisure. A few guests, however, noted that in the immediate vicinity of the hotel there was a limited choice of bars and restaurants.
positive:
Generally positive remarks about service
Most reviewers reported a friendly welcome from professional and helpful staff. A few reviews refer to short delays checking-in during peak periods or when large groups are arriving.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Tired features reported
For some visitors, certain aspects of the hotel appeared to be a little unloved or in need of updating. These included dusty furniture, leaky showers, aging lighting, non-functioning plug sockets and non-functioning air-conditioning.
negative:
Street noise disturbed some visitors
Some guests' reviews described having their sleep occasionally disturbed by traffic noise from the main road passing the building. There were accounts of guests opening their windows to cool down during the warmer months, which made the street noise more noticeable. Light sleepers may prefer rooms facing the other side of the building.
negative:
Doubts over value for money
Guests were divided as to whether their stay represented value for money. Some described room rates and restaurant and bar prices on-site as being on the high side. The hotel offers room only rates where breakfast is an optional extra and some guests liked having this added pricing flexibility.
