Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient, well connected location location.
While most guests seem to book the Radisson Blu Cologne for its proximity to Koelnmesse and Lanxess Arena, both about five minutes away, many also note that the location is within an easy 25 min walk to the Cologne Cathedral, Hopfbahnhof, and riverfront. Guests can also easily get to the city centre on the tram; the nearest stop is only a few steps away.

It's Business time...
Guests generally describe all of the rooms as comfortable, with modern furnishings and heated flooring in the bathrooms. However, guests who stay in the Business Class rooms widely agree that the extra expense is well worth it, as the generous and delicious Super Breakfast Buffet is included and it is not inexpensive purchased separately. Most also note that the food in the hotel restaurant is excellent, but similarly pricey. Business Class rooms also offer a little bit more space.
positive:
Professional, helpful staff.
Most guests give the front desk and wait staff rave reviews for their personable and professional customer service. The housekeeping staff also do a great job. The word "spotless" comes up in many reviews, with respect to the rooms as well as the public areas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Sleepless nights for some...
Several guests with rooms too close to the atrium area found their sleep disturbed by music from the lobby bar area, while others found their rooms too hot for a good night's rest, widely reporting that the air conditioning only serves to lower the temperature by a few degrees, if at all.
negative:
Too cramped to relax...
Several guests found the fitness centre very small, particularly the area devoted to 'relaxation'.
negative:
The Breakfast Crowd...
Some have noted that the dining area can get crowded and a bit too "chaotic" during the popular Super Breakfast Buffet.
