Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent location.
With its riverside setting and easy access into the city centre, there’s not a great deal you won’t like about the location of the Premier Inn Norwich Nelson City Centre. You’ll be able to take advantage of the free on-site parking, leave your car where it is and set out on foot to explore the area.
positive:
Nice rooms.
The majority of guests were more than happy with the standard of the rooms at this hotel, often describing them as clean, comfortable and spacious. The selection of amenities is well thought out although Freeview channels, great beds and the air-conditioning are highlights.
positive:
A warm welcome.
Like in many of the hotels in this chain, staff seem genuinely happy to be working here and that shows in the warm welcome and friendly service offered to all guests. Very few guests make any negative remarks about the staff in this hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some noise concerns.
It does seem that packing a pair of earplugs would be a wise move if you’re planning to stay at this hotel. Guests report noise from all manner of sources - in particular, from the bars and restaurants in the area but also from the hotel lifts and other guests.
negative:
Some disappointment in the bathrooms.
Although the majority of guests found their rooms of an acceptable standard, some negative feedback does arise about the bathrooms. Several guests mention that they were unable to adjust the showerhead while others found the ventilation fan in the bathroom wasn't working properly. Others thought there were too few towels provided.
negative:
Restaurant attracts mixed reviews.
Although separate from the hotel, the restaurant is listed as a feature of the property. Hence, guests quite rightly expect it to be of the same standard. Unfortunately, disappointment often arises due to slow service and average quality food.
