The obvious attraction of this hotel is its proximity to the beach. Guests like being just a short stroll away from Copacabana, yet being in a safe-feeling residential area. There are lots of shops, supermarkets and eateries around the hotel and if you want to go further afield there is a metro station opposite, as well as bus stops.
Guests are blown away by the hotel's roof top pool. Whilst the swimming area in itself is nothing special and is even quite small, it is more than compensated by the magnificent views you get. You've got an amazing vantage point over the city, Sugar Loaf and Corcovado mountains - with the statue of Christ the Redeemer clearly visible. Some of the higher rooms even benefit from these exceptional views.
Guests find the hotel to be very clean with nice spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The complimentary breakfast is quite well appreciated and there is the added bonus of a sauna.
