Prime coastal real estate.
The Pol Hotel is a short hop from both the beach and central Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. Access to the beach is only a few short minutes from the hotel. Amazing museums, fun family activities and historic French suites are also just a brief stroll from the hotel grounds.
positive:
A day at the market.
Right on the edge of downtown, not only is the hotel’s location impressive, but it’s also moments from the market. Showcasing fun local wears, souvenirs, and mouthwatering fresh food, the market is a great outing for families and sole travellers alike.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Could use a refit.
Most visitors to the hotel found it to be a charming near-seaside respite, while others found a few minor issues. These included worn-down carpeting and décor, ragged-looking fixtures and beds and chairs that have seen better days. A little fresh furniture and decoration could make a big difference in some guests’ experiences.
negative:
Choose your rooms carefully.
According to some former guests, the hotel has two faces depending upon where you stay. Some rooms, such as the basement rooms were cramped and tatty. At the same time, other guests found their upper floor rooms quaint yet spacious and enjoyed the view. You may wish to choose the upstairs suites when booking at the Pol Hotel.
negative:
No on-site parking.
While there is free public parking close to the hotel, unfortunately there aren’t any spaces actually at the hotel—which could be tricky for guests with mobility concerns. The free nearby carpark is also first-come first-serve, so you might arrive to a full lot and be forced to seek public parking or pricier pay lots.
