Positive Reviews
positive:
Close proximity to beach
Most visitors who spend some time at this resort do so because of the beautiful beaches. You will be able to reach the ocean front within a few short steps, while the convenience of many food stalls means you can spend the entire day there. Make sure you pack the sun screen.
positive:
Love the natural surroundings
You will be spoilt with the amount of fauna and flora surrounding Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort, where the lotus flowers and ponds are lovely added amenities. You might even see a hornbill close by which is rare, while birds will perch on the nearby platform.
positive:
Over the top hospitable
The staff at this resort have been showered with compliments from visitors who have enjoyed their stay here. The management and staff will go out of their way to make sure your stay is just perfect, and they are excellent with advice on local attractions and places to eat.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor meals provided
There have been quite a few complaints from travellers about the breakfast at Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort. Guests have said that the quality is poor, and there are not many choices. Be careful because the birds also help themselves to whatever they can.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi signal
Most visitors gave up trying to use the free Internet service in the public areas. Normally you will be able to stay connected for a few minutes at a time, so most guests just choose to go out and enjoy the vacation and explore local sights instead.
negative:
Soundproofing needs improvment
If you don't want to hear your next door neighbours' conversation, you should probably bring a set of ear plugs with. Guests have complained about the thin walls between the rooms, and many request a room at the end of the passage to minimise the problem.
