Guests can enjoy recreational activities such as swimming, massage services, working out in the gym, aerobics, fishing, hiking/biking, playing with the personal motorized watercraft, surfing/boogie boarding, windsurfing, yoga classes, a game of volleyball, or simply hanging out in the terrace with family and friends. Other recreational activities that guests can partake of in nearby locations include kayaking, golfing, parasailing, sailing, scuba diving, skydiving, water skiing, and snorkeling.

Guests have reported that One Ocean Resort & Spa makes for a great beach getaway even in rainy weather. Very beautiful private beach with so much to do guests hardly ever run out of fun recreational activities to enjoy.

Many guests have been overflowing with praise for the hotel's staff with they have described as amazing at every level. Room service is great with nice little touches including in-room staff delivering surprise complimentary goodies such as chocolate covered strawberries in the rooms.

Some guests have reported that some of the rooms that One Ocean Resort & Spa purports to offer ocean views offer little more than just plain coast views.

A few guests have expressed their disappointment for the hotel not honoring their reservations and reallocating them to rooms of a different caliber upon check-in.

Several guests have reported that the valet parking service people caused some damage of one type or the other when parking their cars yet the hotel refuses to admit any liability whenever such incidences occur.
