Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, USA)

The rooms have been described as spacious with plenty of furniture including desks and sofas which were greatly appreciated by many of the guests. Most of the rooms have balconies that look out onto the Bay and guests said that sitting outside whilst admiring the picture-postcard views was one of the highlights of their stay here. .

There is a shopping- mall right next to the hotel and also numerous bars and cafes where guests could enjoy their breakfasts or lunch. Beaches are also a short stroll away which many found very convenient. .

The spa has been praised by many of the guests who said that the treatment rooms and the sauna were clean and modern. Guests who had facials and massages were highly complementary about the treatments stating that they were carried out by knowledgeable staff. The fitness center left a positive impression on many as it had plenty of up-to-date equipment.

Guests who stayed in rooms close to the function suite objected to the level of noise that could be heard from various parties and receptions that are often held there. The noise was said to be quite intrusive preventing many from getting a good night's sleep. .

The restaurant was said to be open only at certain times during the day and guests particularly objected to the fact that it was not open in the mornings which meant that they had to leave the hotel and have their breakfast elsewhere. .

Those who stayed in the annex next to the main hotel building objected having to climb several flights of stairs daily as there is no lift in that building. .
