Negative Reviews
negative:
Street Noise a downer
Guests reported that the rooms on the lower floors facing the busy two way traffic on Kenmare Street was very noisy. A number of guests commented that the rooms would benefit from additional soundproofing to block out the noise. On the flip-side guests recognize, that this is New York!
negative:
Hot and Cold take your pick
A key bug-bear for some guests across a number of reviews was the inconsistency of the air-conditioning. For some it was too cold, for some it was too hot, for some the air-conditioning unit was very loud, these experiences resulted in a very disrupted nights sleep!
negative:
Finding a morning coffee buzz
Some guests where little concerned that they could not get their coffee buzz before 7 AM in either to the hotel or in the surrounding streets. The hotel would do well to look into early-morning coffee facilities for all the early birds who need to function after the morning coffee hit!
