NilHotel Florence (Florence, Italy)

Nilhotel is ideally located for guests travelling with a car or those on business. The hotel is within walking distance from Nuovo Pignone. The A1/A11 motorways are both easily accessible from the hotel as are bus links to the Florence city centre, three miles away. Conveniently, the Florence airport is only a ten-minute drive away.

Most guests found the staff at Nilhotel to be quite friendly and helpful. Make sure to ask them about discounts - they'll gladly get you bus tickets at the best rate possible.

Overall, guests were pleased with the amenities and facilities provided. The strong Wi-Fi especially was handy, for both business and leisure travellers. Guests with vehicles appreciated the complimentary parking, saying it was extremely easy, unlike parking in the city centre. In addition, the rooms all have plenty of outlets, an essential to most guests in modern times.

Many guests were disappointed with the hotel look and décor, saying it was simple, bland and did not create a holiday atmosphere. However, the hotel is in general quite clean and well kept.

There are not much activities in the area close to the hotel, as it is a bit outside the city centre, in a business-filled neighbourhood. Because of that, guests also ran into problems locating the hotel, as it does not stand out from the surroundings. However, the hotel does have good public transportation connexions to the Florence city centre and guests found it easy to use.

While the rooms do have air conditioning, guests say it doesn't always work well. Several guests have complained about their rooms being too hot and that they were unable to change the room temperature.
