If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful room outside of the main city centre of Melbourne then this is the place for you. You get good value for money here and the sights and attractions of the Victorian capital are within easy reach by car, train, and bus.

The people working here are very down-to-earth and happy to have a casual conversation with you, whether it’s about things to do in the area or facilities at the hotel. If you have any requests they are quick to respond.
positive:
Plenty of free parking spaces available here.
This place is perfect for drivers, with a big car park that rarely gets full. Also, you won’t have to pay a penny more to park your vehicle here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Excess noise can be a bit of an issue here.
The lively bar and bistro downstairs can attract lots of people, especially on the weekend, so be prepared for some noise on a Friday and Saturday night. Light sleepers should pack some earplugs to avoid being disturbed.
negative:
Don’t expect fast internet from the free Wi-Fi.
Streaming movies, downloading music, or playing online games is out of the question if you plan on using the free Wi-Fi. The internet speed is very slow and you often have to ask for the password.
negative:
This place is dated and needs some refurbishment.

You’ll be presented with rather shabby rooms when you arrive here, so don’t come with high expectations. Some renovation work is long overdue and would really help to spruce the accommodation up a bit.
