Relaxing and tranquil setting.

The idyllic countryside setting was appreciated by the guests as many chose to spend their afternoons sitting on the patio enjoying a few drinks or taking a stroll through the gardens.
positive:
Elegant and sophisticated interior.
The restaurant dining room with its stained glass windows, open fire place and chandeliers left a lasting impression with many guests who described their dining experience as truly memorable. Many enjoyed afternoon tea or pre-dinner cocktails in the hotel’s lounge bar which was said to be equally plush and elegant.
positive:
Quality evening meals.
Those who chose to dine at the restaurant were very complimentary about the quality of the food that was served as well as the level of service. The dishes were described as very tasty and the presentation of the food was also highly praised.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can get busy with wedding parties.
Guests complained about having to wait for a long time in order to get served at the bar on days when wedding receptions were held at the hotel. The communal rooms as well as the garden can become very crowded with wedding guests and the service can become rather slow due to the amount of visitors on-site.
negative:
Disappointing breakfasts.
The breakfasts were described as quite disorganised with many guests waiting for their cooked meals whilst the buffet items were not replenished. Guests who arrived later complained about not having enough food to choose from.
negative:
Spa facilities on the small side.
Some guests found the spa rather small including the pool which was of inadequate size for swimming lengths. The treatment rooms were described as cramped and there was nowhere for guests to sit and relax.
