Nefeli Hotel (Chania, Greece)

You could not pick a more convenient location in Chania, the hotel being only a short walk from the port, the old town, shops, and restaurants. The bus station is just a minute away, from where you can easily get everywhere around Crete.

Guests say that there is a wide choice available at breakfast time and that items are quickly replenished before they have chance to run out. You will enjoy what you have, as everything is very fresh and tasty, setting you up for a busy day ahead.

Staff at the hotel are very friendly and offer a warm welcome, which guests feel is sincere. They are really helpful, happy to assist with anything that you might need whenever you may need it, and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Some guests said that their rooms could get very hot as the air-conditioning unit did not work very well. Others said that the air-conditioning was very noisy, so they could not leave it running, or poorly placed directly over the bed making a cold draft.

Carpets in the bedrooms look quite dated and are also noted for being worn and stained. They may not give the best impression when you first arrive in your room and some guests think that it is now time to update the flooring for something fresher.

This is a bit of an unusual negative, but some guests have said that the pillows at this hotel are quite hard and this left them facing an uncomfortable night's sleep. Light sleepers need to bear this in mind.
