Scenic location
Guests were impressed with the quiet countryside location of the hotel. Surrounded by mountains, valleys and forests, and set only a few miles from Downtown West Yellowstone, they felt it is a good base to tour the Yellowstone National Park.
positive:
Value for money
Guests loved the lush trees and mountains surrounding the hotel. They loved the small lobby and the outdoor patio with mountain views, where they could relax in the warm weather. They found the on-site laundry to be top notch; the complimentary breakfast was adequate with juices, coffee/tea, cereal, toast, muffins and yogurt. The fresh in-house cookies baked every evening added a nice touch. As such they found it to be reasonably priced.
positive:
Clean rooms, friendly staff

Negative Reviews
negative:
Eight miles from downtown
The hotel is eight miles from downtown, and as such guests found it very difficult to drive that distance each way for dinner/gas or other requirements.
negative:
Small breakfast room, no storage space
Guests found the breakfast room to be small, with very few tables. It got hot and crowded every morning. They also felt that more protein options like eggs and sausages were necessary in the menu. Guests also complained that there was no closet in the rooms to hang clothes. The pegs supplied were not functional. The clothes would not stay on the pegs for long.
negative:
Other issues
Guests noted that there is no elevator in the hotel. The housekeeping staff did not change the sheets daily. Guests also recommend double sheeting for blankets and lids for toilets.
