Motel Sandcastle Inn (Tybee Island, USA)

The location of the SandCastle Inn is its biggest advantage - in the overall opinion of former guests. Not only is it a short walk from beaches, restaurants, shops and nightlife, but the hotel is also in close proximity to popular attractions like the Tybee Island Marine Science Center.

When it comes to customer service, the hotel has been great for many past visitors. The staff is said to be friendly, while they are always willing to help when possible - from providing more towels to recommending a local restaurant.

Although there is apparently a somewhat limited amount of spaces available, the free on-site parking at the SandCastle Inn has proved to be a big advantage for those traveling in their own vehicle. This is even more of a factor when you consider the high prices for using public parking in Tybee Island.

The continental breakfast served by the SandCastle Inn is arguably the most common complaint from previous visitors. In particular, the supposedly limited selection of breakfast items has faced a lot of negative feedback, while the lack of a dedicated dining area has also caused issues in the past.

While the majority did not have an issue with cleanliness at the hotel, others were disappointed about this particular aspect. As well as the rooms not being the cleanest, the housekeeping is regarded as not the most proficient.

The rooms at the SandCastle Inn were slated in some quarters by past visitors - despite recent updates including new televisions and floors. Most notably, the beds are reportedly uncomfortable and a number of amenities - such as the hairdryer and phone - did not function as expected.
