Great base for lovers of the great outdoors
If you're someone who enjoys outdoor activities then this is definitely the place for you. Mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating, fishing: you name it; this area has it. And the best part is, most of these activities lie within very easy reach of the hotel.

Nice quiet spot to lay your head
It sounds odd but this hotel always seems to have a really nice air of quiet and calm hanging over it, day and night. For sure, you really wouldn't think that it's located next to a main highway right in the center of town (just south of Main Street, in fact).
positive:
Effectual and personable staff
The guys and gals working here have a way about them which is very agreeable indeed. If you're a fan of good old-fashioned hospitality then you'll undoubtedly appreciate their efforts.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hotel looks a little dated in places
What some people regard as ‘dated charm', others see as being just ‘dated'. Whichever way you look at it though, it's fair to say there are some areas where the Americas Best Value Inn - Payson could definitely benefit from a strategic nip and tuck!
negative:
Bathrooms are pretty small
It has to be said that the bathrooms in the guest rooms haven't exactly been designed with the larger mammal in mind. Something to bear in mind if you are a large framed individual.
negative:
No breakfast offering
The hotel itself doesn't provide a breakfast option for guests each morning (unless you count the vending machines). That being said, there are plenty of restaurants close by, including one that's right next door.
