Excellent Guest Service
The staff at this hotel provides great, Midwestern hospitality from the moment you arrive. The front desk staff are caring and accommodating, taking care of guests with a smile every time. There is much to do in the Akron area, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, and this hotel staff is very knowledgeable and informative about events in the area.

Hotel Needs an Update
This hotel is quite dated and in need of a refurb. It's an old-style motor lodge with doors that face the parking lot popcorn ceilings and walls, and old, window-mounted air conditioner units. The plumbing is also old-fashioned, which means your shower goes cold if someone flushes the toilet.
negative:
No Leisure Amenities
Unlike most, newer hotels, this hotel does not offer a lounge, pool, or fitness room, making it not super family-friendly.
negative:
No Free Breakfast
This hotel does not offer a free breakfast of any kind, nor any kind of breakfast for that matter. You'll need to look elsewhere nearby for ways to kick-start your morning.
