Positive Reviews
positive:
Popular breakfasts, evening receptions and coffee.
Guests were pleasantly surprised to find that there were complimentary evening drinks and light meals served some nights of the week, and this was something they rather appreciated, in addition to the apparently good selection of continental and cooked options on offer in the free breakfast buffets. In addition to this, people liked the fact that there was coffee available in the lobby at all hours — also completely free of charge.
positive:
Large suites great amenities, pool and hot tub.
The size of the suites was something mentioned with approval by a large number of those who stayed, and these were also said be comfortable, clean and well provided for in terms of amenities like sofa beds and a kitchenette with modern appliances like a dishwasher. Furthermore, the apparently nicely heated hot tub and indoor pool were thought to be lovely for relaxing in if you have the time.
positive:
Close to shopping, restaurants and Iowa Uni.
According to reviews, those who stayed found themselves only a short walk away from some neat shops, restaurants, a craft beer bar and some nice spots for a coffee or a sweet treat. Furthermore, there seems to be a good amount of parking on offer, which was found handy since the hotel is reportedly well located for those arriving by highway, and the university and Iowa City center were also mentioned as being quickly reached.
