Cocoa Country Inn is situated close to all the area has to offer, near Hersheypark, Tanger Outlets and a number of popular tourist attractions and restaurants. It is located just a few blocks away from down Hershey. Guests have appreciated the central location and being able to easily explore the area.

Several guests have mentioned that this hotel is reasonably priced compared to some other hotels in the area.

Staff have been said to be warm and welcoming; several people mentioned that employees went out of their way to help them during their stay, including providing recommendations on places to dine in the area, as well as helping them with room issues.

A few people have mentioned they were disappointed with broken air conditioning units, broken room locks and broken TV remotes. There also have been some complaints about faulty phones, shower heads and sinks. The grounds could also use some improvements in upkeep.

There have a few comments about the pool area either being closed or not very well maintained. One guest said they noticed the water was green.

Wi-Fi can apparently sometimes be an issue at this hotel. Several people mentioned they were disappointed that the Wi-Fi signal either didn't work or was a bit finicky at times.
