Motel 8 Laramie (Laramie, USA)

Guests clearly liked the location of the hotel. They described it as being just off the interstate, so easy to find initially, but also not very far from the University of Wisconsin, the target destination for many visitors.

One of the first things many guests mentioned in their reviews was that their room was simply spotlessly clean. Even those who admitted to being a little “OCD” when it came to cleanliness could not seem to fault the housekeeping staff.

Guests were very happy with the value for money they received during their stay. They felt that they had received a decent and clean hotel room in a great spot for what they considered a very low room rate.

Guests did not get a very good first impression of the hotel. They said that, while not looking dangerous, the immediate surroundings were especially unattractive. The hotel itself was said to need some work done on its exterior to get it looking reasonable.

Guests mentioned that, like with traditional motels, the corridors leading to the rooms are on the outside. Of course this was fine so long as the weather was good, but guests did not appreciate them when the weather turned nasty.

A number of guests were disappointed that no breakfast was available onsite. It meant they had to search out a restaurant first thing in the morning, when they would really rather be getting on with their day.
