Mokara Hotel & Spa (San Antonio, USA)

Guests staying at the hotel have direct access to the river walk and due to the hotel's favourable location can enjoy some wonderful views from their rooms. Many were pleased to find that they could walk to the local shops, bars and restaurants as downtown San Antonio is only a short stroll away.

The on-site spa has been described as an oasis of peace and tranquillity with guests feeling relaxed and at ease immediately upon entering. The premises were said to be clean and well presented whilst the treatments themselves as luxurious and very enjoyable, carried out by professional and skilled staff.

Many of the guests were pleased to find that the size of their rooms exceeded their expectations whilst the decor was described as pleasant and tasteful. Guests appreciated the high quality furniture and upholstery whilst the bathrooms were also said to be large and well-presented.

Not all of the rooms have picturesque river views and some guests were disappointed to find that their windows look out onto a brick wall. If you are keen on having a scenic view, it's advisable to let staff know prior to booking.

Guests who dined at the on-site restaurant said that the service was quite slow both at dinner and at breakfast. Many were disappointed at waiting longer than expected to receive their orders and items at breakfast were not replenished in due time according to some of the guests.

The rooftop pool was said to be quite small considering the size of the hotel and the number of guests and many reported that the size of the pool was not adequate for swimming but merely having a dip.
