There were numerous complaints from guests who were disturbed by so-called "beach boys" when they stepped outside of the hotel's gates. These people operate as tour providers, but guests said the prices charged are often inflated, and that some of these vendors are pushy.

Guests said that the beach is not ideal for people who want to swim or snorkel. They reported that the waves are very high, and that the sea is characteristically choppy. With that in mind, consider your main leisure activities to be sunbathing or using the pool.
