positive:
Explore Parque das Nacoes, minutes to Oriente.
Guests said they found themselves minutes from the Tagus River, mall shopping (with dining and supermarkets) and Meo Arena; in the fascinating area of Parque das Nacoes, home of the 1998 World Exposition grounds. Furthermore, they said it was handy to the city centre and Lisbon Airport, thanks to the trains and buses of Oriente Station being just a few minutes’ walk away.
positive:
Very attentive staff service.
Tryp Lisboa Oriente’s staff proved to be exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout the hotel, with guests mentioning the restaurant and bar staff as also being good sorts. On top of this, anyone who experienced any issues said they were quickly dealt with.
positive:
Well-appointed rooms with great views.
The views from rooms here can apparently be fantastic, in addition to clean, comfortable and well-appointed lodgings with reportedly lovely rainshowers. A few guests also mentioned they had good possibilities for extra guests on pull-out sofas and only seldom did anyone report noise from the train station.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Food offerings could be better, no kettle.
Some of those who stayed at Tryp Lisboa Oriente were a little disappointed with the food offerings, and thought the breakfast buffet offering in particular could be improved. On another note, a small number of guests were also disappointed that they did not have a kettle to make a simple cup of tea or coffee in their room.
