Medplaya Hotel Vistamar Costa Dorada (Hospitalet de l´Infant, Spain)

The Vistamar Costa Dorada's location right on the sea front with direct access to the beach is one of the main points in favour of this hotel. The location is quiet and picturesque, with great views from the rooms, the restaurants and the hotel bar.

The carpeted corridors meant quiet rooms, which guests appreciated. The balconies, fridge and other in room amenities and good showers made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay said guests.

The staff at the Vistamar Costa Dorada receives good reviews and is spoken of as being proficient in various languages, friendly and helpful with sightseeing tips, timetables, maps and other info. There is a good selection of food offered at the breakfast buffet and other offerings at the hotel's two restaurants are good too, said reviews.

Wi-Fi is offered complimentary with stays at the hotel. However, it is sporadic and the signal is weak in the rooms. The signal is somewhat better in the lobby area said guests.

Some guests thought that the rooms need a bit of sprucing up. There are old fashioned locks on the doors and some of the furniture and fittings and the sun loungers by the pool have seen better days said guests.

Some guests reported that the a/c in their room had a poor location and that its running was unreliable. Some said that the levels of cleanliness were not up to par and reported ants in the rooms. The breakfast featured no hot dishes and was repetitive.
