Positive Reviews
positive:
Great central location
Many guests simply loved the location of the hotel. The fact that it was so central meant they could park their car, and unless they were taking trips to the spectacular countryside, could leave it parked there while they enjoyed all the shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities which were well within walking distance.
positive:
Terrific brew pub next door
Guests went out of their way to praise the brew-pub that was conveniently located right next door, Klamath Basin Brewing. It had such a great atmosphere many decide to have every dinner there.
positive:
Very welcome snack basket
A number of guests mentioned being surprised to find a snack basket in their room on arrival. It was clearly not something they were expecting, and they really appreciated the kind gesture, and the contents of the basket.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not ideal for pets
Pet owners were not too happy with their stay at the hotel. They mentioned a few problems, but the two most prevalent were that the additional pet fee was quite steep, putting them in a bad mood right from the beginning, and that the central location meant that there was nowhere handy to really walk their dog, play catch and so on.
negative:
Very disappointing breakfast
Guests really didn’t think much of the breakfast offered. While the hotel does state that it was a standard continental breakfast, guests felt that it was weak even by that standard. There simply were not enough options to generate any enthusiasm.
negative:
Noise from nearby trains
The train tracks run reasonably near the hotel. Guests mentioned that, of course, trains blow their horns at railroad crossings, and also when leaving nearby Klamath Falls Station. Since there are several trains that pass through at night, this caused many guests to have trouble sleeping.
