Positive Reviews
positive:
Kitchens well equipped
While perhaps most guests did not use their kitchen a great deal for full meals, opting instead for the restaurants on-site, some did and considered them well equipped. They didn't seem to have any problem using what was there to prepare reasonably complex meals.
positive:
Very family friendly
Many mention that the hotel really seems to cater to families with younger children. In season there is a comprehensive entertainment program for them, and the property itself is set up with them in mind, with play areas and kiddies swimming pools.
positive:
The spa area very much appreciated
Though it is only open limited hours, guests mentioning it really seemed to like that there was an oasis they could retreat to when the rambunctious atmosphere of a family resort was stressing them out a bit too much.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit far from the centre of town
Some guests mention that the centre of Puerto Polensa is quite a far walk, and there is really not much of a nightlife scene at the hotel or nearby. For them this meant some taxi rides to and from the bars and clubs many nights.
negative:
Good beach quite a long walk
While there is a small beach very nearby, guests mention that it is indeed small, and also not the best for swimming. There are, of course, nice beaches in Puerto Pollensa, but they are about 25 minutes' walk away.
negative:
Rooms are a bit dated
While most guests seemed to agree that the rooms were dated, some felt this was a big issue, others not so much. There were not really many complaints about cleanliness, so guests with less aesthetic sensitivity perhaps, could easily shrug off the older furniture and fittings.
