    The Lodge at Vail is located right in the middle of Vail Village, an easy walk from Gondola One for accessing skiing on Vail Mountain and has plenty of options for hiking, dining, and shopping very close by — or you could just sit and admire the view from your room.

    Guests say that the staff here is great; friendly, responsive, very helpful with recommendations and ready to go the extra mile to make you and even your canine companion feel welcome. In addition, the food was found to be fantastic with plenty of options to choose from and good room service.

    You will find the hotel's pool and hot tubs to be highly worth checking out, the spa facility was also thought great after a long day on the slopes, the hotel was said to have a fantastic alpine ambience and the rooms were judged comfortable, clean and had very comfy beds.

    A small number of those who stayed at The Lodge at Vail said their rooms were unfortunately rather small, and in addition some were thought to be not so modern and even a little dated, however this seems to depend largely on the hotel section you stay in.
