Guests rave about the lovely Scottish breakfast that's served daily. They use high-quality, local produce to make freshly-made favourites. Portions are large and there's plenty of coffee to get you going. But perhaps best of all are the bacon and sausages which come from local butchers and are of great quality.

This hotel appears to be upgrading rooms and going through a refurbishment. Some rooms seem quite dated and worn, while others appear to be modernised. Inquire in advance if you have a preference.

The Wi-Fi connexion needs vast improvement. It's very slow and only permits one electronic device to connect at a time.
