Again and again guests mentioned how great the staff at the hotel were. While many said that they were welcoming and friendly, what most impressed seemed to be their willingness to help guests out, especially by offering top local tips regarding the best ski runs.
While there were a few contrary opinions, the overwhelming majority of guests seemed to really enjoy the breakfast. It was said to be delicious and contain enough variety to please all but the pickiest of eaters.
Though guests mentioned that they needed to take buses to many of the ski lifts, they conceded that was simply the nature of skiing in Chamonix. They did describe the hotel's location as exceptionally central, with the town centre nearby, and the Aiguille du Midi also well within walking distance.
