Negative Reviews
negative:
Sluggish Wi-Fi may cause you to lag.
While the hotel does provide complimentary wireless service, some guests felt that it wasn't really powerful enough to maintain a strong connection. If you need a more powerful signal, you may wish to bring a hot spot with you or request a room closer to the lobby.
negative:
Light on the soundproofing.
Guests of the hotel have generally enjoyed the proximity to downtown and the delicious, authentic food. Some guests, however, haven’t been as fond of the poorly insulated walls, and the way they let in nearby racket. If a little noise could disturb your beauty rest, you may wish to bring along ear plugs.
negative:
Could have been a little nearer to downtown.
In general, most guests have enjoyed the rural neighborhood location of the Leonardo Hotel Budapest. Others have found it too far from the action. Even though historic downtown is a half-hour hike, there are nearby bus and rail stations that can rush you to Budapest’s numerous popular attractions.
