The self-catering apartments allow guest to live as though they were in their own homes, since the rooms are equipped with fully-equipped kitchenettes, refrigerators, washers and dryers and microwaves.

The hotel is a good base if you're in town to visit the theme parks, as it is close to Disney and less than a 30-minute drive to Universal Studios.

Guests found the hotel's breakfast to be quite tasty and the staff to be friendly and efficient.

While some rooms have been renovated, guests found the hotel to be in need of an upgrade overall, as they experienced rooms with old, scratched furniture and chipped bathroom tiles. Not all of the TVs are flat-screen but projection-style, the mattresses are worn and no longer impeccably clean, and items such as fans or air-conditioning units were broken as well.

Several guests complained that hotel security was more interested in searching guests' bags when entering the pool area to make sure they didn't bring outside drinks or food instead of focusing on improving security on the premises. Some guests noted that there were no cameras to ensure guests' safety, so that the security staff could be better used as opposed to enforcing the pool policies.

Several guests found their rooms in need of an additional cleaning when they first entered their rooms, with dirty floors, greasy stovetops, stained sheets and bad smells. Guests also commented on this issue in the common areas, since hallways displayed stained carpets and smelled musty.
