The hotel has an Asian flair with a distinctive appeal. The hallways are colorful and bright. The newly remodeled look is modern and sophisticated. You will enjoy staying in this snuggly hotel.

The location is amazing. There's nothing you can't find from shopping, to museums, to restaurants, and anything in between. You are close to public transportation, which will take you right into the heart of San Francisco. It's right next to Japantown and the neighborhood is pretty calm.

The staff is courteous and friendly. Nice touches like cucumber water and ice tea are in the lobby. In the room you will find a quality hairdryer, hair care products, washing up products, and a good iron.

The parking is not free and street parking is limited. Not only that, the parking for hotel guests is not enough. If you do have parking, it's quite expensive even if you have a generous budget.

What a pity that some amenities that you look forward to are missing like a microwave in the room, breakfast, and swimming pool. The hotel would seem more complete with them, even though they are not necessary. However, the rooms do have a fridge.

The hotel restaurant is not really a restaurant, it's more like a cafe. Due to the renovation, you can expect to be awakened early in the morning, and the sound of garbage trucks doesn't help. If you are in the front of the building you are going to have more noise to deal with. You have to fight for the hot water as well as the fixture for hot water is very difficult to turn on. Nonetheless, the water issue and early morning noise issue could be very well due to the renovation going on.
