    They are a friendly bunch.

    The Globe and Crown staff are really nice and will make you feel very welcome and comfortable during your stay. If you have any queries they will do their best to deal with them in a timely and efficient manner.

    The hotel is nicely placed, whether you want to venture out into the wider reaches of Somerset and Devon, or if you want to stay local. You are within easy walking distance of the middle of Yeovil.

    A revamp is really needed.

    Although everything is clean and tidy, Globe and Crown could do with a fairly substantial refurbishment. The carpets are quite worn and the furnishings are dated and look ready to be replaced. Also, some of the hairdryers don't work very well.

    You might need to bring your earplugs if you want to get an early night's sleep here. If your room is near the stairs, you'll hear other guests coming and going and you will likely experience lots of noise from the bar below, which often has live bands.

    The car park only has limited spaces and if you don't get a spot you might be advised to surreptitiously leave your vehicle in the nearby surgery car park. This isn't an ideal situation and you might be better off finding some street parking.
