Karon Pool Hotel (Karon Beach, Thailand)

Guests have reported that the manager and staff of this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Although the staff do not speak very much English they will go out of their way to understand you and get you what you need. The service staff in the café are friendly and efficient.

The cleaning staff does a fantastic job at keeping the Baan Suay immaculate. They are happy to give you any extra towels or things you may need. The bathrooms are scrubbed and the bedrooms mopped or vacuumed daily by the happy cleaners.

Guests to the hotel have commented that they enjoyed and appreciated the amenities available. The Wi-Fi has good signal and the beds and showers are most enjoyable. Guests enjoy the small coffee and bar area as well as the comfortable seating in the common areas of the hotel.

Although the hotel is situated on the main Karon Beach road, the walk to the beach takes roughly 15 minutes as you have to walk around other blocked off properties. It is quite tough for some people to walk everywhere in the heat. The position on the main road also means that it can be quite noisy at night with the sounds of people and traffic.

Some guests have reported that the swimming pool is not big enough and there are not enough sun loungers. The swimming pool is also not children-friendly as it is rather deep, the shallower end is still quite deep. The pool is often dirty and uninviting and it is often occupied by a diving school and so guests cannot use it.

Some guests to the Baan Suay Hotel have reported that the TV in their either did not work properly or it did not work at all. Guests also reported that the staff was slow to attempt to fix these issues.
