Positive Reviews
positive:
Outstanding location in Oslo
This property is within walking distance of many of Oslo's most famous attractions as well as a number of restaurants and cafés. While it is well-served by a number of close transport links, this hotel is so central that many eschewed the buses and trams, preferring to get around on foot..
positive:
Extremely helpful staff
This hotel seems to have customer service down pat. Multiple guests report being greeted warmly and cordially and though they don't seem to happen often, when problems do arise, these are resolved swiftly and professionally.
positive:
Beautiful inside and out
This property really rocks that minimalist Scandi-chic look. This aesthetic was by no means lost on guests, many of whom found the hotel to be equally attractive both inside and out. The look and feel of this hotel - which is under refurbishment at the time of writing - only seems to enhance guests' overall experience, adding a positive footnote to their visit to Oslo.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A gem of a hotel, but only if you can find it
For whatever reason, many guests had a very hard time locating this hotel. For some, this was a real source of frustration.
negative:
Basic toiletries and narrow beds
In terms of toiletries, this hotel offers guests just basic liquid soap. For those hoping to travel light, this came as a bit of a shock. Additionally, some found the beds to be just too narrow for their liking.
negative:
Is it a hotel or a hostel?
This building actually comprises two separate properties in one physical location: a hotel and an upmarket hostel. Unfortunately, it seems that quite a few guests unknowingly booked themselves into the latter property when they had originally intended to plump for the former.
