Inturotel Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel & Spa (Cala d´Or, Spain)

With its location directly next to the sea it is understandable that many previous guests have mentioned the amazing views of the sea.

Many previous guests have praised the food for its quality and for the variety of different food offered by the hotel.

The staff have been described as being very friendly and very helpful to guests. The customer service is excellent where they always go out of their way to make a stay more pleasurable with attention to detail and personal touches. The high standards of cleanliness have received particular mention as well.

Some previous guests felt that there wasn’t enough shade around the pool area. They had to get up early in order to get a shaded area as the heat was unbearable in the direct sunlight.

Although the majority of guests found the staff to be very friendly and very helpful, there were a handful of guests who felt that the staff were somewhat rude on occasions. This was particularly so in the restaurant at breakfast or dinner when staff seemed to be in a rush to get rid of people as soon as the meal time was over, leaving some guests unable to have dessert.

Some couples were disappointed with the beds as they found that they were actually two single beds pushed together rather than a normal double bed. In some cases the beds didn’t push together properly either so it wasn’t very comfortable for them.
