Positive Reviews
positive:
Absolutely unbeatable location and view
Of course it had to be the hotel's location that most impressed guests. They describe it as having incredible views directly on to the Spanish Steps. Guests also liked the location since it was close to all the very best shopping and café culture for which Rome is famous.
positive:
Remarkably quiet
Despite being on undoubtedly the busiest square in all Rome, guests mentioned that there rooms were remarkably quite at night. They credit the double glazing on the windows, which were judged to be truly soundproof.
positive:
Surprisingly spacious
Guests had clearly been expecting somewhat small rooms, given the guest house's location. They were very pleased to report that their rooms were actually surprisingly spacious.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited staff on-site
The guest house is fairly small, and seems to have no permanent staff on site. There is a reception, but it is open limited hours, and those arriving when it is closed must go to another hotel to check in. Likewise, if guests have an issue or query outside of business hours, there would be nobody there to assist.
negative:
Limited Wi-Fi availability
While guests seemed more or less satisfied with the quality of the Wi-Fi, in terms of reliability and speed, they reported that it was not available in the rooms at all. Of course this meant that they would have to venture forth to the reception in order to make contact with the broader world.
negative:
Not easy to find
Like many other small Italian guest houses, it is only occupies a small part of a much larger building. As a result, signage can't be as prominent, and some guests had a bit of difficulty finding the entrance.
