Hotel Wyndham San Jose Herradura (San José, Costa Rica)

The location of Wyndham SJO Herradura is perfect.  It's only ten minutes away from the airport and a shopping centre is across the street.  Many other attractions, including the vibrant downtown, are also easily accessible.

The breakfast area is beautiful with stunning views of the gardens and pools.  There are many high-quality, fresh, delicious items to choose from and everything is nicely-prepared.  Guests also reported that there are many local dishes available.

Several swimming pools and hot tubs are great for the whole family, a casino provides endless entertainment for adults, a lovely garden provides a nice place to relax, a spa is there to keep you relaxed and feeling great and a gym ensures you stay fit while on vacation.

The guest rooms at Wyndham SJO Herradura are in need of some care as guests reported some issues including mould in the bathrooms, tattered carpet, broken shower tiles and malfunctioning air conditioning.  Also reported was dated decor and furnishings, toilets that don't flush properly, chipped walls, uncomfortable beds and a lack of water pressure in the shower.

Staff at this hotel are hard to locate when needed and when they can be found, they are not very helpful and not friendly.  Guests reported that all services are delivered in the slowest possible manner, issues are not looked after in a timely fashion if they are even looked after at all and blame is passed from person to person when a problem arises.

Guests reported that the bar and pools are often closed at random times when they are supposed to be open which causes inconveniences for guests who have plans to spend the night having drinks or spending an afternoon in the pool.
