Hotel WorldMark Galena (Galena, USA)

Guests who have stayed at the WorldMark Galena (formerly The Resort at Galena), found the location to be picturesque and restful. Tucked away in the mountains, the resort is still conveniently close enough to the historic town of Galena. Guests can enjoy lovely views from their balconies and have described the condos/ studio suites as cozy and warm.

The rooms are clean and well appointed; very good amenities felt a majority of guests. The rooms are spacious with space to spread out and space is cleverly utilized. The kitchen, jetted bath, fireplace and other modern amenities in the rooms have been appreciated by guests. Common amenities such as the pool, game room and workout area are also reported to be good.

So far, no other recent positive opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.

Guests have to pay to use the internet facilities. The cell phone signal is rather poor and patchy. Also, some guests felt that the noise from the highway was disturbing.

Guests are charged a damage deposit amount while Checking-in at the WorldMark Galena. This takes some days to be refunded.

Though limited housekeeping is offered, some guests have given thumbs down to the maid service. Some guests also felt that the resort hotel needs some updating. In the event, the interiors are scheduled to undergo renovations from August to December 2015.
