The hotel is less than five miles from Legoland Florida, making it an excellent choice for park-goers in terms of location. You will find a number of affordable family dining options within minutes of the hotel as well, and Tampa and Orlando are both 30 minutes away in either direction.

The Winter Haven Suites and Conference Center has an outdoor pool available for guests. This is great for both family and adult travelers who enjoy kicking back poolside.

The hotel offers free private parking to guests, and a complimentary breakfast is served each morning in the hotel restaurant. Having breakfast ready for you should take some of the stress out of your morning before making your way to the park.

Many guests complained that the hotel is not clean. The rooms were generally unkempt, with dirty carpets and worn-out furniture in need of replacement. The towels and linens were also often not sufficiently clean, and it was difficult to convince hotel staff to take any action.

According to guests' reports, the hotel has a problem with bugs. Numerous guests reported finding roaches and palmetto bugs in their rooms, and a few complained that their rooms had bedbugs as well.
