If you are travelling with your family, Wingate by Wyndham Round Rock and Conference Center is a great place for you because kids under 17 stay for free. The guest rooms are spacious, there's a pool and there are lots of kid-friendly destinations close to the hotel.

The walls and ceilings at Wingate by Wyndham Round Rock and Conference Center are thin and this can make for a noisy stay, as you can hear the goings on in the room next door and the sound of footsteps above your head. In addition, noise in the hall, especially by the elevators, can further disturb your stay. If you want the quietest stay possible, be sure to book a room on the top floor as far away from the elevators as possible.

Housekeeping is hit-or-miss here but often, you'll find that the guest rooms have not gotten the attention they deserve. Dusty furniture, forgotten trash and hair that's been left in places it shouldn't be are among the offenders. In addition, even though some of the carpeting looks fairly new, you'd hardly know it due to the poor vacuuming job.

This property could certainly use a facelift, especially when it comes to the bathroom fixtures which have seen better days. The musty smell of mildew is prevalent, not only on the bathrooms but in the halls as well, which makes for a less-than-appealing aesthetic.
