Hotel Williamsburg Lodge, Autograph Collection (Williamsburg, USA)

This hotel is located within a stone's throw of Colonial Williamsburg. There is also a bus stop right outside the door that will take you around the Historic Area. The hotel's surroundings are peaceful and quiet. This hotel is directly across the street from the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club and just a short walk to the Merchants Square shopping district which features a Barnes & Noble with a Starbucks.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the area. Staff are warm and welcoming. Everyone says hello and it feels like true southern hospitality.

These spacious rooms are clean and decorated in the colonial style. Luxury toiletries are featured and can be purchased from the nearby spa.

Guests say the Traditions Restaurant is very expensive and not worth the price for the quality of food, especially the seafood buffet. Options are also limited as they do not offer rooms service or carryout options.

Some rooms are starting to show signs of age with stained carpets and mold in bathrooms. Guests expect a little more for the price.

The focus of this hotel seems to be on conference group attendees and not on guests with families. They do offer a pool and fitness center, but you have to cross the street to the Williamsburg Inn property to access them.
