positive:
Thoughtful host sets the tone
First impressions are important and guests at this property were very impressed to be met at the door by the property's owner, who provided a warm and immediate welcome to all. The host's attention to detail is a common theme at this B&B and it only serves to enhance the overall atmosphere of luxury here. While the host went out of her way to provide assistance with luggage and make suggestions for local restaurants and attractions, it's the small things that really stole the show at this property. A lovely hospitality tray, gluten-free options at breakfast and tea in real pots are just some of the small touches that made this B&B truly outstanding.
positive:
Beautifully decorated accommodation, amazing bed
The décor and furnishings here are also very impressive. Guests loved the clean, modern look and the high-quality of the fixtures and fittings at this property. The beds were also outstanding, with guests truly delighted by both the mattresses and the feather duvets and pillows. Allergic to feathers? That's no problem; this B&B's thoughtful host will be more than willing to swap the down duvet for a hypoallergenic bedspread.
positive:
Great food and perfect location
The breakfasts here were absolutely top-notch, with many commenting on the excellent quality of the food. In fact, the only regret seemed to be that this property does not serve lunch or dinner. However, the B&B is just a few minutes' walk to town, where there are numerous restaurants and pubs. Those who wanted to get a taste of the sea air also found that the location of this property was perfect for a ramble along the nearby South West Coast Path.
