Motorists in particular had praise for the convenient location off US Route 17 and Interstate 526, which meant the motel was close to roadside amenities, shopping malls and dining options. Many reviewers liked being within striking distance of beaches and only a ten-minute drive from the airport.

Lots of reviewers were impressed with the customer service which helped make for a more pleasant stay. Personnel on reception were often described as friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Guests were often attracted by the competitive room rates and many said they got value for money at this no frills motel. Reviewers frequently said they got more bang for their buck thanks to complimentary guest perks such as morning coffee, parking, expanded cable channels and a pets stay free policy.

Plenty of guests said the rooms were more than satisfactorily clean for a shorter stay, but others disagreed, saying management had work to do to raise standards. There were occasional claims from guests of poor pest control measures plus stained linens and furnishings.
