Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms are variable
There are several types of rooms available at the Water's Edge Resort & Spa with very varying features and levels of amenities provided. Some guests felt that the room they had was not good value for money. Guests also pointed out that having only one bathroom for an entire villa was a problem.
negative:
Somewhat dated, crowded
A few guests felt that the resort had a dated look about it and others thought that some items such as beach chairs could do with replacing/updating. The resort restaurants and beach attracts locals not residing at the resort so it can get crowded and compromise levels of service.
negative:
Some more issues
There are several activities for which guests need to pay extra. Getting towels at the pool requires tickets. The food at the resort is expensive.
