The Duxton Okawa Bay is a 4 star hotel located on the shores of Lake Rotoiti on New Zealand’s North Island. It stands in seven acres of private landscaped gardens, whilst the lake provides a range of water based activities for its guests including sailing, swimming and lake cruises. Rotorua city centre is approximately 15 kilometres away. Other recreational facilities include 2 tennis courts, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a fully equipped gym. The hotel has a total of 44 rooms, which comprise of 34 Superior Rooms, 7 Deluxe Rooms and 3 Suites. All of the rooms have been recently refurbished and include a personal bar and Sky TV as well as all of the standard facilities that one would expect to find in a hotel of this class. Many of the rooms have a lake view and a few have been adapted to suit guests with disabilities. For business travellers there are conference and meeting rooms available for hire and wedding packages are available.
